Marketing & Creative Content Assistant Apprentice

Based in Setchey, Kings Lynn, Norfolk and based mostly on-site

Candidate of any age who are eligible, can apply, from 16 and over.

There is a Marketing Executive Level 4 apprenticeship attached to this position which should be completed in around 16 - 18 months.

Swarm apprenticeships are working with Britain’s biggest online beer shop offer a role within their marketing function, whilst gaining a Marketing Executive Level 4 apprenticeship.

They are looking for someone to take a proactive role as a key member of the Marketing team to assist in the co-ordination, promotion and organisation of events, to support key marketing campaigns and deliverables and provide administrative support to the Marketing Team for all the businesses onsite.

The Role

·       Assist in the effective and creative planning and organising events in all businesses.

·       Assist in the promotion/marketing of events through a wide range of internal and external marketing channels in run up to and after events.

·       Assist in promotion & advertising of all businesses online & local/national press.

·       Assist in the maintenance of the websites (wordpress, bespoke), ensuring content is up to date, relevant and effective.

·       Developing and creating content that can be used across a variety of media including digital, social media, broadcast or in print.

·       Assisting with a professional front of house service at any events held on the site.

·       Assist the Marketing team in reviewing, monitoring and delivering marketing campaigns, delivering & writing content for email marketing (Airship & Mailchimp), online and print advertising, press, design and website activities.

·       The job involves a wide variety of activities, including maintaining the online presence for our five websites, focusing on content data entry, email promotions, and assisting with social media management, assisting with maintaining and uploading content.

·       Assist the Social Media Manager, Facebook remarketing, Twitter, Instagram.

·       Provide administrative support for all aspects of marketing function and undertake general word processing, database input, administrative duties, mailshots and event preparation as required.

·       Gathering and recording of key marketing and communication metrics for department reports (Google Analytics etc).

·       Picture and video editing - editing photos and videos for their websites and YouTube channels.

·       Copywriting & proof reading - Editing and writing content for the website blog, product entries and social media

·       Helping the sales desk - on busy days in the office, answering phones in the office

·       Co-ordinate the distribution of marketing materials e.g., posters to a wide range of organisations and internally.

Other reasonable duties at the request of the Marketing Manager.

To be an all-round game player with excellent communication skills and definitely a sense of humour!

Salary – Starting at £5 then to be reviewed during the apprenticeship

Holiday - 21 days a year

Annual bonus – On the discretion of Directors on performance

Working Hours - 35 hours. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm - and occasional evening/weekend required - flexible to be discussed
