People Apprentice (HR/People with Learning & Development Administration) – Battersea

A business Level 3 Apprenticeship is attached to this position with 20% paid time out for self study with tutor support

Swarm Apprenticeship working alongside a FTSE 100 luxury property developer, offering this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to start a career in Business administration. They are looking for a passionate individual to become an integral member of the team. Based within the People team, this role will primarily be focused on providing administrative assistance for the People function, including assisting with Learning and Development initiatives, to provide a value adding, continuously improving service to the business.

Vacancy description

Providing assistance to the wider People team, including:

  • Coordinate the payment of departmental invoices through providing Purchase Orders to suppliers and liaising with the Accounts Payable department
  • Updating employee details across various systems
  • Maintaining company-wide organograms
  • Assisting with Diversity and Inclusion and Health & Wellbeing initiatives
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the team or wider business
  • Providing assistance to the Learning & Development Advisor, assisting them in organising training programmes for the company (c. 400 staff), including:
  • Liaising with external training providers via email and phone in order to organise training courses
  • Coordination of the Outlook training calendar and sending calendar invites to delegates
  • Updating our system, Alpine, with course booking information
  • Liaising with delegates regarding suitability of dates, bookings and cancellations
  • Checking e-learning completion and following up with delegates
  • Coordination of room bookings and setting up meeting rooms for training days

Some previous office-based/administrative experience would be advantageous.


Desired qualifications 

• GCSEs or equivalent grades A*-C/9-4 in English and Maths

• Possible full-time role to be discussed after completion of the apprenticeship

Salary & Benefits

• Monday to Friday: 08:00am - 17:00pm (you might be required to start earlier or stay late from time to time, so flexibility is important)

• Total hours per week: 40.00

• Annual wage: £21,000

• 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays

There is also a Business Administration Level 3 is attached to this position which should be completed in around 12-18 months
